Wisdom from Wyoming: Objection from a former sailor
May 6, 2010
A recent letter to the Editor to the Northern Wyoming Daily News in Worland, Wyoming had this to say:
To the Editor:
I object and take exception to everyone saying that Obama and Congress are spending money like a drunken sailor. As a former drunken sailor, I quit when I ran out of money.Bruce L. Hargraves

That was before crdit cards. Once we got one the government got a bigger one. We have to pay ours or lose it. The government is now in that same position. A constitutional amendment to keep a balanced budget is the crux of the present argument. Unlike the drunken sailor, the government won’t stop spending unless forced to.
